Friendship Week

Ms Buckley's class really enjoyed friendship week. They demonstrated yard games at little lunch every day and played friendship games in class.

Here are comments from Ms Buckley's pupils:


Victoria Leszczyska : We are all friends in our class and we share all the time. During friendship week we were nice to every student in the school and to the teachers. It reminded us how important friendship is.

Kieran McDonagh : Friends are nice.

Ruth Egan : Friends are nice and cool and friendly. We had a friendship week where we played games.

Jennifer Pedro: Friends always play together. We played 'Mother may I?' We always share in class.

Alex Heffernan: Friends always take turns. Friends are nice. During friendship week I played with my friends. We played 'Catch'. It was fun. We played on the monkey bars.

Mia McCann-Ledwith: We can play gently with Ruth. Holly is nice. During friendship week we played 'Tunnel Race'. Teacher lets us do gymnastics with our friends. Mrs Byrne is leaving us now. Jennifer shares her sweets with everyone. When we are working in school we always go outside to play with our friends. All the teachers are very nice. On fridays, in school, we play games. It is called 'playtime' and we are a good class.

Robin Leavy: We made a circle of friends. We played friendly games in a circle. The games we played are called 'Mother may I?' and 'Flush the Toilet'.

Amy Bracken: Being a friend is good because if you have no friends you'll be lonely for the rest of your life. I'm glad I have friends. Being friends with people is good. I met two new friends this year. Friends are good to have. If anyone is lonely, I like to help them be my friend. I'm glad that my friends like me. I like my friends too.

Holly Cunningham: We played lots of friendship games. We made new friends. We had fun during friendship week. We wrote friendship poems. We shared.

Emma Leavy: Friends are kind. We play fun games with our friends. We played 'How do you do?' I played with my friends. I like my friends. My friends are nice. We put out the friendship stop. Clodagh is my friend.

Kian Dunne Duffy: Friends play nice games together. During friendship week we sang friendship songs. We played 'Mother may I?' We drew pictures of our friends. I drew lots of my friends. Friendship week is good. Friends are good. Diarmuid is my friend. I have lots of friends. Friends are kind. Ben, Kieran and Alex are good friends. Friendship week is cool. We played games for friendship week where we took turns. We shared with our friends.

Jade Duane: St Josephs is the best school. I like to play with my friends. Friends are fun. During friendship week we played games and had fun.

Diarmuid Egan: During 'Friendship Week' we played games out in the yard. We were kind and friendly. We were nice to each other. We played all together. We played the tunnel game. We did nice things for our friends. It's good to play games with your friends.

Ben McConville: St Josephs is fun. We had friendship week where we played friendship games. We have a soccer area where we play with our friends. When we played friendship games in the yard we got a sticker. We do art in school with our friends. My best friend is Diarmuid. I have lots of other friends. We are nice to one another. Friendship week is the best time in St Joseph's. We played 'Tunnel Races' and 'Mother may I?' St Josephs is the best school.

Ashish Matthew: Jamie and I play cool games. We play 'Heroes' and every day we make up a new hero. Sometimes we play 'Mummies' instead. During friendship week we played 'tunnel races' and 'How do you do?' We drew people. We had a competition and David won.

Clodagh Spollen: Friends are fun and friends are cool.
They are the thing you want in school.

David Walsh: Friendship is good. We can work together. We have friends. St Josephs is cool. We can have friends in school. Friendship games are really good.

Jamie Raleigh: In St Josephs School we are all friends. We help others. It's good to be friends. Friends are helpful. We can be friends with everybody.
